Ale House Brewfest is Grand Junction’s Salute to SummerJune 28 2017
For more than a decade now, The Ale House and its annual brewfest series has trail blazed the way for Grand Junction good times.
The cool, crisp, pint-sized pour into summer has become a must for western-slope fun-seekers with Ale House’s perfect backyard mashup of craft beer, live music, and community celebration.
And for this summer’s bash, “Red, White, and Brewfest”, we’re doing it again folks. Summoning the brewgods for sunny skies, cold cold beer and the sweet soundtrack of summer – believe us when we say it’s gonna be good.
To prep you for the sunny day ahead, we’ve put together a little rundown of all things Red, White, and Brewfest. Read up on the brews, the artists, and the cause and plan on joining us this weekend at The Ale House.
Partnering with some of craft beer’s brightest and best from across the country, our brewery lineup will be pouring up unlimited tastes throughout the Brewfest day. Colorado craft brewers include:
- Breckenridge Brewing Co.
- Odell Brewing from Fort Collins
- Denver’s Crooked Stave and
- Bonfire Brewing from Eagle, Colorado.
Out-of-state brewers slated for Saturday are:
- Deschutes from Bend, Oregon,
- Perrin Brewing Co. from Comstock, MI, and
- California’s own Sierra Nevada.
Looking for more than craft beer? We’ve got you covered. Special guests Snow Capped Ciders (Cedaredge, CO) and Talon Winery (Lexington, KY) will also be on deck pouring up alternative sips for all 21+ to enjoy.
It’s no secret. Music makes everything better, and Red, White, and Brewfest is no exception. So for this year’s lineup we’ve hand picked a few local favorites to swoon you from onstage throughout the night.
Starting at 6pm, husband and wife team Jack + Jill take the stage with their homegrown indie-alternative act. Known to inspire “head banging and magical booty shaking” this eclectic group is not to be missed. Get here early and guarantee your spot.
Changing speeds from 8 – 9:30, Ale House hosts special guests Grits Green all the way from Ogden, Utah. This funky, stripped down hip-hop group brings Brewfest goers an instrumental take on “so-old-it’s-new” soul and sound.
Want to know what takes a Colorado brewfest from good to great? A portion of each ticket will be gifted to Project Healing Waters, a nonprofit dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings. Fun and for-a-good-cause. Red, White, and Brewfest is more than just a brewfest, it’s a give-back to something we can all get behind.
Red, White, and Brewfest tickets are on sale now and available at the door Saturday, July 1st at The Ale House. Family friendly (must be 21 with valid ID to drink) and fun for all, bring the crew and join us for the perfect salute to summer. Brewfest begins at 5pm and ends at 10pm.
